As an aeronautical college that has been training people since 1928, Spartan has an extensive history of contributions to the aviation industry. To more thoroughly represent Spartan's history, we have published (and republished) several pieces relating to Spartan's early days:

Students make pine cone wreaths from items gathered locally such as seed pods, peach pits, walnuts etc. and sell them at a very reasonable price. They also make ceramics, peanut brittle and a few other items. The students and local community fund the school.
