Raymond Gary State Park
The cabins are "primitive", (no bathrooms), but they have fireplaces, ceiling fans, a heat/air conditioning unit, and twin beds, with room for additional cots or sleeping bags. They each have one room and a screened porch, and are located just a few yards from the lakefront. Water and grills are just outside the cabins and comfort stations are close by. The price is $35 per night. Raymond Gary Park is a well kept secret among the campers who come regularly. They like the quiet atmosphere, the good fishing (it helps that there is a 5mph speed limit on the lake), and the fact that there is not a lock-in policy. It is a great place to picnic and use the playground. Walkers like to use the loop through the park. There are lots of trees, rocks, hillsides, as well as level ground. Located in SE Oklahoma on the shores of Raymond Gary Lake, this small park offers a peaceful setting. The 390-acre lake has 10 miles of shoreline and offers visitors fishing, boating and swimming. Camping and picnic facilities can also be found including 70 picnic tables, 3 individual shelters, 2 group picnic shelters, 10 modern RV sites with all hookups, 20 sites with water and electricity, 30 regular campsites with no utilities, 3 comfort stations with showers, 2 playgrounds, and a swimming beach. Two unlighted boat ramps provide access to the lake, and an open fishing dock is also on site. Park Office: 8am - 5pm, 7 days a week, year round. Campgrounds
are always open. Bird Watching, Camping, Fishing, Swimming, Wildlife Viewing Boat Launch, Fishing Dock, Outdoor Grill, Picnic Shelter,
