ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Ray Heard, a native of Norman, Oklahoma, studied art in southern
California and returned to Oklahoma in 1999 to begin painting landmarks of
this home state. With such a great demand for the
Norman series, he has yet to begin capturing landmarks around the state.
If you have a favorite, feel free to let him know.
An additional page will
soon be added of his paintings depicting the southern California coast,
Catalina, Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico, as well as floral and tropical
fish scenes. Until then, he will be glad to send you a brochure.
Ray has complete over
four hundred paintings in his career and proudly offers to paint a special
one just for you. Pull out your old vacation photos and he can use
them to create a one-of-a-kind oil painting that you are certain to be
proud of. The "thumbnail" images you see here look tight, but in
reality, Ray paints with thick paint, in an impressionistic style, that
bring changing moods to each masterpiece with the altering lights of the
day. He also travels to capture the ambiance of your vacation home
of canvas, in a plain air style. You can also send him a hand full
of family photos and he will work computer-merging magic to artistically
blend them all into one. A great anniversary gift!
Be sure to mention this

away places. Your graduation class may want to sell his prints, to
