This 3,000-acre, working cattle ranch is located on a island in the Cimarron
River. Open to guests between April and October, accommodations have private
bath, air-conditioning and two queen beds. The only TV's, telephones and VCR's are
found in the lodge. Attractions at the ranch include horseback riding, square
dancing, powwows, fishing, swimming, hiking, trap shooting and trolley rides
pulled by a team of Belgian draft horses. All activities are supervised. Guests
also have the opportunity to try their hand in team penning (a real cowboy
chore) and instructions in roping. The western setting here is so picturesque
that Levi, Wrangler and Justin Boots as well as several movies have used the
ranch as a location site. Price includes all meals, lodging and activities. This
is a family oriented vacation destination. For those guests staying at least a
week, free transportation is available from Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma

have made recent improvements to their 240-acre getaway: a saloon has been
added, offering 2,000 square feet of entertaining space for groups of 15 or more
with a stage, billiards table and food service. Guests wanting an extended stay
at the ranch can choose from three one-room bunkhouses that accommodates up to 8
people each; an RV area with electric hookups, dump station and nearby water; or
guests can pitch a tent and camp under the stars. Tent rentals are available.
Ranch activities include horseback riding, hayrides, scavenger hunts,
horseshoes, walking the nature trails or fishing at any of six ponds. Also on
site is a petting zoo, trading post, and roping corral that offers lessons for
any skill level. Buffalo and long horn cattle roam freely throughout. One of the
ranch's prized possessions is an 1800's oak stagecoach that can be rented for
special occasions. During the Halloween season, the ranch offers Scary Prairie
