120 Park Acres 77 Ft Waterfall Small Grotto formed by Falls Observation Platform 74 Campsites Entrance Fee Playground Nature Trail Catch-N-Release Fishing * Outdoor Grill * Picnic Shelter * Picnic Tables
Natural Falls is located in NE Oklahoma in the scenic Ozark Highlands region of the state. The focal point of this state park is a 77-foot waterfall which falls into a small grotto. On the dry, rocky ridge top portion of the park are post oak, blackjack oak, and grasses which struggle to survive on the thin soil; however, a totally different plant community is encountered in the canyon at the bottom of the waterfall. A dense forest of maples, chinquapin, white oak, flowering dogwood, redbud, sassafras, coral berry, spicebush, and pawpaw blanket the cool forest floor while the waterfall creates a moist environment where ferns, mosses and liver worts thrive. Moving water forms caves and sinkholes in the limestone rock providing shelter for many species of wildlife, and special protection for many species of bats and salamanders. An observation platform with a nearby picnic pavilion overlooks the falls, and a large picnic area with tables and grills can be found in the grotto area. Campsites are available for those wishing to stay and enjoy the serenity, including 44 RV sites with pads, tables, grills, water, and electricity; and 30 tent sites. A comfort station with showers is also available. Due to the demands of keeping the park in its natural state, day users will be charged a small fee per vehicle up to 6 persons, and extra for additional persons. School buses conducting field trips will be charged per bus. Overnight campers will not be required to pay the entrance fee.
Closes at dark to day-use only visitors; Park office open 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, year round; Campgrounds open 24 hours, year round.

I would just like to say thanks again to everyone that made our stay
with yall last weekend so wonderful. We brought three of our
Girl Scout troops in our service unit out for a campout. Two of
the troops had never been camping before, and you made us all feel
very safe and secure. We felt that you went out of your way to make
our stay as wonderful as possible and we appreciate it very much.
We would like to thank Scott again for putting up with our sleepy
girls while helping us with the flower beds. We are looking
forward to adopting a flower bed and we will be back in touch with you
on that. We are looking forward to visiting again.
Thanks again,
Sharon Stockton
