The Beavers Bend State Park which is located at the base of the Broken Bow Lake is a true favorite for those wishing to escape to the serenity of nature. With the Mountain Fork River flowing from the base of the Broken Bow Lake running through the park it offers visitors a beautiful view as well as canoeing and trout fishing. Featuring an outstanding nature center where visitors to the park are able to get a close up look at many of the area's wildlife.

Towering timbers, crystal clear waters and mountainous terrain form what is affectionately referred to as Oklahoma's "little Smokies" With a Riverbend area featuring acres of events and recreational programs, these parks are an outdoor lover's paradise. See it all from the 26-mile David Boren Hiking Trail from Beavers Bend to Hochatown, or explore one of 3 nature trails!

Location: 

In southeastern Oklahoma off US-259, adjacent to Broken Bow Lake. The Beavers Bend main entrance is seven miles north of Broken Bow on US-259A. Continuing north on US- 259 for up to four miles, Hochatown has three access entrances: Stephens Gap, Carson Creek and Cedar Creek.

Broken Bow LakeİSO

Two hundred feet above Beaver's Bend is crystal-clear Broken Bow Lake, a favorite of scuba divers and bass fishermen. Broken Bow Lake is one of the most picturesque settings in Oklahoma. There is 180 miles of pine-studded shoreline, and 14,220 acres of lake. Surrounding the island-dotted lake are plenty of RV and tent sites

    $110 in summer, $80 off-season.  Lodge suites are $175 in summer, $125 in winter. Cabins range
    from $53 to $110 in summer, $38 to $105 off-season. Tent camping $8, RV camping $15 to $18.
    Group camp (large groups) $250 to $300 per day. Golf and fishing packages available. Group picnic
    shelters $40 per day. Group rates available. Discounts, time of season and number of people are

Mountain Fork River, Little River and the last free-flowing river in the state of Oklahoma, The Glover River; offer tame waters and Class II Rapids. The infamous Presbyterian Falls is a local highlight. A good day is determined by the number of canoes that dump over!
