Fairest of the Fair
The Payne County "Fairest of the Fair" is ten years old and is held the Saturday prior to the opening of the Payne County Free Fair.

Seven Payne County young ladies in four age divisions participate each year, 5-8, 9-12, 13-15, and 16-18. It's been very successful in giving the girls an opportunity perform on stage as well model and respond to a question. In fact, our event is expected each year by the Fair Board.
