Susan Helm does original paintings on feathers. They come matted and framed with weathered fence slats. Each picture is unique and she will do any subject or color you request. Susan is part Choctaw and lives in Tulsa. Her paintings are inspired not only by the Native American Culture, but also the past and present of Oklahoma. She has been painting for 10 years seriously and works in oils as well as acrylics. Susan paints on turkey tail or wing feathers with acrylics then decorates with leather and beads. The frames are made out of weathered fence slats.
She does her own matting and framing.
